Thanks for the reminder, I often forget to check that.... I will take a look at all the age categories to see if anyone else needs changing.Golf wrote: ↑23 Aug 2021, 23:55whilst ur on it adjust my age catergory into to 45 bracket before i get barred from the tubeforumSoup Dragon wrote: ↑23 Aug 2021, 19:54 Here are this weeks results... a much better showing with 14 of us running at 13 different courses!

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
I do like the 'since resumption' sheet that scrxisi has now added to the stats. At least you can now aim for a new PB....!
How many people think that they will never beat their current PB?
Iain has the toughest job with a PB over 15 years old now!
Personally I think I might be able to still get sub 19 minutes, but time is running out, I reckon that I've only got a couple of years left to try and improve.

Absolutely zero chance - my realistic aim is to get below 35 mins and that is on a flat / easy course.Soup Dragon wrote: ↑24 Aug 2021, 17:57 I do like the 'since resumption' sheet that scrxisi has now added to the stats. At least you can now aim for a new PB....!

According to Run Britain it ranks at #655 out of 692 UK parkruns in terms of difficulty!Going Underground wrote: ↑25 Aug 2021, 13:33Absolutely zero chance - my realistic aim is to get below 35 mins and that is on a flat / easy course.Soup Dragon wrote: ↑24 Aug 2021, 17:57 I do like the 'since resumption' sheet that scrxisi has now added to the stats. In recent weeks I've done....
#669 Itchen Valley Country
#675 Lullingstone
#686 Squerryes Winery
So I'm looking forward to something a bit easier
Joking aside I don't think Itchen and Squerryes are that bad in the summer, they earn the difficulty for muddiness in the winter months.

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
I've run the third-hardest Parkrun seven times (Mount Edgcumbe).
The hardest, according to Run Britain is Flatts Lane.

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
I think I stand a good chance, during the break I majorly increased my running (to the point where a non-parkrun run has to be at least 10k, else I wonder why I bothered going out) on top of daily walking/cycling routines, so I feel I can pick up where I left off.Soup Dragon wrote: ↑24 Aug 2021, 17:57 How many people think that they will never beat their current PB?
Holder of the slowest recorded 274 attempt: 4 months, 1 day, 9 hours, 17 minutes, 32 seconds.
