Just out of interest - I don't plan on doing this myself, but when you do the Class B NY challenge do you have to visit Staten Island.

It's not a subway train, it's a proper one so no.
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

Actually they are subway trains rather than "mainline" trains. Arguably it should be included but historically it never has been.

Again just out of interest covering the 'arrive or depart from every station on every line rule' say we take Times Square-42nd Street/Port Authority Bus Terminal as an example.

We have five lines in the complex; Blue, Red, Purple, Yellow and Grey. So on your challenge you would have to arrive and/or depart this station on each of these five coloured lines, is that correct

Yes, in that case you would have to visit the station complex on all five lines. However you can't always go by the line colours. Where two lines share the same track (such as the 2 & 5 in Brooklyn), you would only have to visit it once.

Until 24/7 comes back (curse you Covid19) this is on hold as 472 takes more than 20 hours to pull off.

I have done a one swipe ( enter don't leave until done), that was both amazing and brutal. 29 hours plus back in June 2018. Not considering gwr at that point.

Until then trying to see if a snake challenge nyc rules is viable.

I almost wish NY could have a Labyrinth route like London does so we could see one possible route through the challenge.

The only information I've currently got from Matthew Ahn's attempt was his start/finish and one jog between stations in Brooklyn

No way would anyone give u a route for new york the basic thing is its a lot differant than london more shorter runs. Patience is key there are various ways you can do it and being a runner has its advantages but not here.

Certain spots it does pay to be able to run/take the bus to avoid huge turnarounds ( chiefly Bronx and Jamaica to avoid having to go through certain areas twice). Ideal place to do so is a less than 20 minute ride/walk that would take an hour plus on the subway to get back to ( the equivalent of dealing with going west ruislip to the Uxbridge branch).

A nyc labyrinth would take about 30 hours with zero stops to eat. I can draw one fairly quickly.

Well being a runner obviously helps most of the runs you have to do are shorter sprint type of runs which anybody can do for about 200m. Now if u got a route like i have it doesnt necessarily mean you have to have long runs in it.

At this point it's invalid and attempts for at least six months to a year are not possible.
