Liverpool Street

Would that mean you would have to start at Limehouse, so as to arrive at fenchurch street on a train?

You need to do it at least twice, then work out Aggregate times.
Royal Oak to Bethnal Green in 333 days
Heathrow Terminal 4 to Amersham in 17 hours, 42 minutes and 22 seconds

That is quite a good idea. Or you add two different peoples time. For example

Person A starts at Headstone Lane and finishes at Sandilands

Person B starts at Leytonstone and finishes at Marble Arch.

But you can't both start and finish at the same stations.

The trouble with that one is that you have three close together up the Bakerloo/Overground (Headstone Lane, H&W, Stonebridge Park), and two very close together on Tramlink (Sandilands and Gravel Hill) - with Mudchute tying in easily to those as well. So if competitors could start anywhere of their choosing, the only real opportunity for variety would be in getting from Totteridge & Whetstone to Mudchute, and even that would likely to be down the Northern Line to Bank and pick up the DLR there.

I really don't see the point you are trying to make with Sandilands and Mudchute.. in my eyes they are ages away from each other and I can't think of a straightforward way to go between them.

I think the idea is you would stay on the DLR to Lewisham, then get Southeastern to Elmers End to pick up the tram.

this will involve one stop on a southern service one stop on a southeastern serviced one stop on a thameslink service etc.
Or how about one stop on each train type in greater london ones top on a class 357 C2C one stop on a class 387 great northern or GWR etc.
