Soup dragon will have a bit of a shock as I won't appear to have run for 2 weekends. Memo to self must check cancellation list before going

Greetings all, I will be attending Bushy together with a few of my Worthing Harrier chums on 18th January
Would be great to see a few of the Tube Challenge crowd as well :D
I am looking to join you for this (also a bump to remind people!).

I had an excellent run with GU at Raphael, not quite a PB but I was only 7 seconds off on a course which isn't the fastest about and it took me over 30 seconds to cross the start line. Best of all my body felt in very good condition all the way around (although my calves were suffering this morning!) :D

Just to confirm this is 100% happening, at this stage I think there are approx 5 or 6 Worthing Harriers making the journey. I believe that GU will be there as well :D

My biggest shock this week is seeing Iain's result, apparently he was in Randfontein (South Africa) and ran 20:57!
No offense to Iain but I'm assuming there is a glitch here somewhere, otherwise he has just taken three minutes off a PB that is 13 years old?

Joined GU, SD and Iain at Bushy Park this morning. Cold, but a glorious morning for a parkrun. I knew I had a quick run in me but crossing the line to see I had done a 22:43, 1 MINUTE and 6 seconds quicker than my previous PB, I was ecstatic! I can also see why so many people flock to Bushy, it really is a lovely course.

A lovely morning indeed! It's thirteen years since I last ran at Bushy, so it was fun to see how it has changed.

My highest finishing position by 800 odd, but great to see everyone.

Glad ur enjoy bushy so did I when I went there it's back to tourism next week after an unsuspected 2 week lay off. Today race tested me a 12hour starting at 7am lasted to 1pm conditions muddy and proper squelchy mud managed 3 laps of a 5.5 mile course with 9 ridiculously steep hills in total and hardly any bits u could run on.

On the 3rd lap I slipped heard a crack and seriously thought I had broken my leg fortunately it was my old knee cap making a street Parkrun re occurrence.

Went to Southampton Common today and I think I may have set one of the slowest times! After doing my ankle in after Victoria Dock and the last R15, I decided to walk it as I didn’t feel ok with running on my ankle. The other reason why I walked was because I was carrying a DJI Osmo to film a time lapse of it for an upcoming TV Package at uni!
R15 PB: 2:23.23
DLR PB: 2:00:50
Bottle PB: 02:30:30
Tramlink PB: 1:55.37 (Cheers David!)
Triple Crown: 7:00.13
FNC: 18:42:50 (Cheers Andi and Josh!)
Park: 8:29:35
Z1: 02:45:54
2018 Z1 winner!
Parkrun PB: 26 minutes something

Went to Kingsway and have a niggling ankle injury which is bothering me. Was hoping to get under 40 minutes as it’s quite a flat course but alas 40.57.

Not sure where to go this weekend.

Possibly. It’s where I was supposed to be going Saturday just gone but didn’t get up early enough so ended up at Kingsway.

It’s where I’ve done best recently but I’m fond of the one lap nature of Mallards Pike so might end up there again.
