Thought for the day

I had to go to Clapham North before going to zone 1 last night. At the top of the escalators was a 'thought for the day' written on a noticeboard. I've not seen one of these before, or have I just been going to the wrong kind of stations?

What was the thought?

It was something about thoughts and deeds, or planning before doing something, or consideration. You know the sort things we never used to listen to in assembly at school.
