Fantastic Michael, I will add you to the stats.
You mention your number is now A5832391, does this mean that you also have a previous number?

No, first and only time I've registered.

I don't expect to trouble the scorers often, perhaps only on Random 15 dates.

I don't know... why did you choose a park run with a Kent postal address when the R15 is almost as far west as it could be? I'm staying the weekend near the flood barrier, so I was thinking Victoria Docks. I'd have time to get back to my room before the R15.

Did anyone else ever try to deliberately run a Stopwatch Bingo time before? I managed it today at Seaford Beach in 25:08, it's not as easy as you'd think! 🤔
I had 06, 07, 08, to aim for but still nearly missed it 😂

Yes - I tried it this morning at Uckfield. I was on target for around xx.23, but thought I was just too quick, so slowed down and went too far the other way and got 26 (timers matched my watch exactly).

Uckfield's lovely though - uneven underfoot for a lot of the course but very picturesque and with good facilities and a friendly team.

Completed all 60 times naturally. I only became aware of the challenge when I had one or two to go. I did notice when I got the last one however.

Orpington was a very pleasant parkrun, in fact the description of the course on the website doesn't do it any justice. 2 and a bit laps around the rugby fields/park, a mixture of flat and long gradual inclines/descents with the hot weather not making it easier on the body. Still, a SB of 24:14 and only 20 seconds off a PB on a course that doesn't scream as being really fast (and the hot weather didn't help either) so very pleased all round. Helped in part by tractakid's friend Jake being a useful pacer on the way around!

I get what you're saying about fudging it. I kinda feel bad, but as I was mainly at Seaford Beach just for a gentle training run I thought what the heck...
This was also my first S for the alphabet, so I managed to tick two boxes. Another bonus was at 2km I noticed a lady from Burgess Hill runners was sticking to my shoulder, so I advised her that I was running 25 minute pace, she said "great" and that she would stick with me as that would be a massive PB for her. With 200 meters to go she opened her legs and showed me her class  and managed to finish in 24:58 8)

The gentle training approach yesterday paid dividends today, I was targetting myself 42-43 minutes for the Worthing 10K, so was delighted to get 41:48. Such a warm day on the coast, I was very grateful to several local residents who put out hosepipes to help try and keep the runners cool.
Final place today was 90th out of a field of 2267, the winning time was an amazing 30:39:8, with one of my colleagues from Worthing Harriers missing out by a 10th of a second on 30:39:9
