Here is league table updated to 24/11/18.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

No CB, PB or SB to report this week, just a few new courses for people.

Andi ran the same time at Pontypridd, 20:43, that he ran at Pontypool

No medals changed hands, but Lancing Beach Green is now on the medal table after 4 of us ran there.

I think you should put Mr soup dragon that I'm only one of 25 people in the world to complete the full ponty. And only one of 2 people to complete the badges set that ain't relying on time or loyalty to a Parkrun.

Brooklands is next week for me, I wasn't far away at Woking. A really mixed course of tarmac and forest trail, and my fastest time for a while

Places like Woking and Brooklands do my nut in with the awful mix of tarmac and mud... Trail shows are not good to run on tarmac with but you need them at both courses ATM so my Brooklands wait will be a while yet... As for my times they continue to be pathetic, I just have no muscle power in my legs anymore it seems...

No trail shoes needed, although I really struggled with the map on my phone and went down a few dead ends trying to cut through to Brooklands today. I wished I'd gone the straightforward way that I knew as I used to work half a mile from the start location. I arrived just as everyone set off having allowed an hour to find the start, and after getting my trousers etc off I was two or three minutes down. I caught up pretty quickly though on a lovely two lap mix of tarmac and trail. Then over to Tesco to celebrate a new Cowell club member

I joined tractakid & GU at Grovelands to get my parkrun tally back underway, very nice park run around a simple 2 3/4 lap course which was relatively flat bar a continuous incline at the back end. I can imagine it looks beautiful at the height of summer.
