First train is from Hounslow West, officially starts at Heathrow T4, ends at Chesham.

And I'd be happy to let you tag along, but would have to check with my dad first!

Quick update during a Richmond 10-minute wait: Picc screwed us up nicely this morning - got told T2/3 was closed, wasn't, so we stopped. Didn't want to risk it and went to Hatton Cross, to find that was closed. Persuaded the station manager to let us see if the train stopped, which it did, but we had to get on through the drivers cab (:D). Not sure about Olympia now, but definitely won't complete :(

This is a tad too late, but you might have been able to take a bus from Hammersmith to Olympia.
Zone 1 Challenge (Olympics 2016): 3:44:31.67 - we were very unlucky indeed!
South London Challenge (Summer 2016): 1:58:40 - going to try again soon!
All Lines Challenge (August 2016): 44:38 - happy with this ... For now!

Oh, it was a tad too late :( District pulling out as we rounded the corner. Southern to W. Brompton, District pulling out as we arrived. Screwed!

I don't understand this - if your train stopped at HT123, then why didn't you just get off there - what were you risking? And if Hatton Cross was closed, then how did you manage to get off a train there in the first place?

We thought T123 was closed and we weren't meant to stop, so we went to HC as we thought no others would stop. And then our driver also stopped at Hatton X, so we got off. Only when the train pulled in did we realise it was closed as the driver got out her cab and told us.

And also - on on Northern now, with 3 under 20 second changes, we can be on the right train again if we get a good bus connection.

No, we are in the opposite side of town then. It's not a record attempt though, I'm just trying to go to all the stations. So I think I might be able to do that with a bit of help from a car....

It may not be a record attempt, but using private transport will disqualify it from the list of completions.
