WiFi coming to the Kennington Loop

Post by tractakid »

TfL, in partnership with Virgin Media, are proud to announce this morning that for the very first time, WiFi capability is extending to deep level tunnels.

TfL spokesperson Joseph King, head of Northern Line Press Relations, had the following to say.

"We are incredibly proud to be extending WiFi capability to the deep level tunnels between stations. We understand how frustrating it can be to connect and reconnect to WiFi (Sponsored by Virgin Media) at every station. We all know the feeling that occurs when you're frantically scrolling down Facebook to find a picture of your neighbours cat, and it fails to load at the last second because our efficient and fast tube service pulls out the station."

Due to the unknown health consequences, the service is set to launch on the quieter sections of line, beginning with the Launch Event around the Kennington Loop on the 31st April.

I saw one for a 'Sussex Scot', running from Brighton to Mallaig. Its the second idea in the quote in this post.

In the first post, tractakid, is it just you who came up with this or did it come from another website.

Well done, that is a good article. Go and work for a national newspaper! And can this actually happen?
