24 Hours on the Tube - February 2017
Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know about the 24 Hours on the tube attempt that Oliver Levine (From TrackTravellers) is planning. It will run from Friday 24th February at 10:00am starting at Heathrow T4 to 10:00am the following day using the night tube. It follows the rules of not leaving the underground system for 24 hours, e.g. no ticket barriers, and at the same time attempting to visit all 270 stations, on a very relaxed basis.
Both Oliver and Iwan are raising money for their own charities or causes through this challenge, collecting their own individual sponsorship, but if anyone wanted to also do that for their own cause or support them, that can be put into place.
This is something different, that not many people have done, so if you wanted to join us for the day, then let me know. The start timings have been put in place to allow not having to stay in hotels and for 2 cheaper options day paper travel cards to be purchased:
1-9 off peak (Friday)
1-6 peak (Saturday)
I'm currently building a team together to complete this, with some of their friends coming for parts to support them and others coming for the whole thing, but do let me know on here if you would be interested.
Kind regards
Josh Nichols-Ageros

There is no peak period on Saturday, so a 1-6 off-peak travelcard would be fine.

Re: 24 Hours on the Tube - February 2017
But with a 10am start on Friday, anyone coming from outside London (or even coming from a more distant part of London) would need a peak Travelcard to get there...

**UPDATED**
Hi All,
Oliver has updated this 24 hours attempt to start at 20:00 on Friday 17th February until the same time on the Saturday, for any of you who might be interested in coming along. It will begin at Heathrow terminal 4, outside the gateline. We plan to visit each station (apart from those closed) but in a nice and relaxed speed. We have got theorangeone as our snack provider, who if you give him the money for, will get anything you wish. Even if you feel like riding the tube for a bit, join us for a part of the challenge!
Kind regards,
Josh

1) Don't expect me to be around between the hours of 11pm and 6am - as I am not doing this challenge I shall be partaking in a bit of this lovely thing they call sleep between 12 and 5, leaving an hour either side to get from wherever the hell you are to home.
2) I'm not psychic, you'll have to give me some details if you expect me to find you.
3) If I buy something for you and you don't refund me the money for it, I reserve the right to eat or drink it in front of you.
4) Anything beyond food and drink supplies will have to be discussed my manager, Enthea Gooner, who will approve such things on a case by case basis.
