I have for a while wanted to do this - and believe that it can be done quicker than the times shown (through careful planning) - especially if you to all the tube stations in one day.

I don't think doing all of the tube in one day would be the most efficient way of doing this record. Where there are Tube and NR lines close together it would make more sense to do them at the same time rather than return to an area twice.

Luton to Harpenden can only be a step UP the ladder in my opinion.

well ive been living in Hatfield for a year, so its a definate step up! Im probably the only person thats moved out of Luton and gone down in living standard!

It's not THAT bad you know. Some of the "suburbs" are nice. Everyone just concentrates on the crappy town centre as representative of the whole town.

Tomorrow a national rail challenge will start in holland. (for the first time). 3 teams, 3500 euro's on sponsored first class tickets by NS (national rail operator).

I think this can be done in two days, south of the river in one and north in the other. Might give it a go.

How many NR stations are their inside zones 1-6? I counted at least 300 and then got bored. Given the frequency of service I don't think this could be achieved in 2 days but if somebody wants to prove me wrong feel free to give it a go!
