Hmm...

From Leytonstone to Walthamstow there's:

W16: 2021 Leytonstone (back entrance) - 2026 Leyton Midland Road
then 97: 2027 Leyton Midland Road - 2037 Walthamstow Central

or

W16: 2021 Leytonstone (back entrance) - 2029 Leyton Green
then run to catch 257: 2032 Leyton Bakers Arms - 2036 Walthamstow Central

or

W16: 2021 Leytonstone (back entrance) - 2026 Leyton Midland Road
then Rail Replacement Bus: 2026 Leyton Midland Road - 2037 Walthamstow Central

or just:

257: 2021 Leytonstone High Road (Kirkdale Road) - 2036 Walthamstow Central

or if you miss that:

257: 2033 Leytonstone High Road (Kirkdale Road) - 2050 Walthamstow Central.

From Leyton to Walthamstow there's:

69: 2024 Leyton - 2040 Walthamstow Central

58: 2026 Leyton - 2047 Walthamstow Central (TAKES OTHER ROUTE)

69: 2033 Leyton - 2049 Walthamstow Central

Entirely your choice as to what risks you are willing to take!!

These timings don't seem to be brilliantly consistent, though - I can't imagine a non-stop bus (from Leyton Midland Road to Walthamstow Central) taking longer than a stopping one, for one thing...

I didn't bother to put the end of route as it was obvious and at that point Richmond first was still an idea. I still think it's just that little bit too risky.
