PM the answers to me. Apologies if questions are ambiguous or incorrect or anything, it is not intended.

1) Which Bakerloo Line station that is currently managed by Silverlink will not be transferred to LU management with the rest from November 2007?
2) What was the original eastern terminus of the Central London Railway, when it opened in 1900?
3) What other Underground railway did the CLR meet at this location?
4) Which two Jubilee line stations have platforms for the Metropolitan line that are rarely used?
5) Is South Kensington station maintained by Metronet or Tube Lines?
6) Which services use platform 3 at Chalfont & Latimer?
7) What is different about the trains on these services compared to general Metropolitan Line stock?
8) What is the new price of an Oyster single zone 1 fare?
9) What is the name of the new trains on order for the Victoria line?
10) Which other line is planned to receive new signalling technology along with the Northern line?

Only 3 entries for this quiz, from Zeibura, editorsfoot and standclearofthedoors.

1) Which Bakerloo Line station that is currently managed by Silverlink will not be transferred to LU management with the rest from November 2007?
WILLESDEN JUNCTION -- editorsfoot got this one right, the others put (understandably) H&W.
2) What was the original eastern terminus of the Central London Railway, when it opened in 1900?
BANK -- SCOTD put Liverpool Street, the others were correct.
3) What other Underground railway did the CLR meet at this location?
Waterloo & City or C&SLR -- SCOTD put "Marble Arch". EF & ZB got it right.
4) Which two Jubilee line stations have platforms for the Metropolitan line that are rarely used? WILLESDEN GREEN and NEASDEN -- EF and ZB both correct, SCOTD put West Hampstead.
5) Is South Kensington station maintained by Metronet or Tube Lines? METRONET -- EF and ZB correct, SCOTD put tubelines.
6) Which services use platform 3 at Chalfont & Latimer?
CHESHAM SHUTTLE -- all correct.
7) What is different about the trains on these services compared to general Metropolitan Line stock?
4-CAR CONSIST -- all correct.
8) What is the new price of an Oyster single zone 1 fare?
£1.50 -- EF and SCOTD correct -- ZB put £2.
9) What is the name of the new trains on order for the Victoria line?
2009TS -- EF and ZB correct.
10) Which other line is planned to receive new signalling technology along with the Northern line?
JUBILEE -- none correct.

i'm pretty sure the answer to question 2 is bank - liverpool street (central line) opened in july 1912.

I had real trouble with this question. When I went to find out the answer some sources said Bank, and then Liverpool Street, some said just Bank, and one just Liverpool Street. You would think that with 1900 not being that far in the past it could be documented properly, but it isn't, so this shouldn't reflect on Jonny.

lol, before i wrote this quiz i thought it was Bank as well, until I looked on wikipedia (which may well be wrong!). Wikipedia says that the original planning was for it to go to Bank, but permission was obtained to have it built as far as Liverpool Street, and when the CLR opened in 1900, Liverpool Street opened with it.
I'd be inclined to believe this, as Bank does not have reversing facilities, whilst Liverpool Street does (did, I think they've closed the sidings now).
Does anyone actually know?

woops, my mistake!

Wikipedia actually says that it opened as far as Bank, despite having permission to open to Liverpool Street, to begin with then opening to Liverpool Street in 1912 as Zeibura says, so this looks likely.

By showing the track layout, thus hinting at what might have been at Bank when the line was first opened to it.

my source was douglas rose's "the london underground: a diagrammatic history". this says that bank (central line) opened in july 1900, the line was extended to liverpool street in 1912, and nothing was built any further east until 1946. this suggests that jonny's theory about them getting planning permission is probably correct. also liverpool street therefore would have sidings as it was a terminus, but not the first one.

do you mean the crossover after bank used to be a siding for reversing trains?

That crossover could have been added at any point. It may not have been there when Bank first opened.

Having said that, Clive's Underground Lines Guide has a different layout:

His history also points out that Bank to Liverpool Street was opened on the 28th of July 1912.

the Quailmaps books agree with Stephen Knight's interpretation, although the crossover between Liv St and Bank seems to 'belong' to Liverpool Street, which would suggest that it was put during, or after, the Liverpool Street extension.
The fact that at St Pauls (and Chancery Lane) the platforms are arranged one-above-the-other may suggest that this was for easy inclusion of crossovers between Bank and St Pauls. Just a thought.

Although it doesn't make much difference I did get 6,7 & 8 right.
Thats 3/11 not 2/11...
