And very badly done to you for question 2.

Blake Hall closed on the 31st of October 1981, and not in 1986.

And Lords was between Baker Street and Finchley Road in question 16.

Perhaps we should ask the question which hotel now stands on the site of Lords station? (I think :?: )

Hey, it doesn't work that way. You must ask the strongest link to decide who has to leave.

5. What station on the Hammersmith & City line was destroyed by a fire? WHITE CITY
Surely King's Cross St Pancras is an acceptable answer for this question?!
28. Why was this station closed? STEEP GRADIENTS UPTO THE STATION AND TIGHT CURVES. THE TRAINS WERE NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH
According to something I read (probably by Christian Wolmar or someone), the station was actually closed due to the single platform KWS terminus not being able to accomodate enough trains per hour -- although steep gradients, etc. were a secondary problem. I may of course be wrong...

Technically the station was not destroyed - otherwise the entire thing would have burned down. It was just the bit near where the fire was that was ruined.

Jonny, you're right aswell. The space in which King William Street was located was small and couldnt accommodate as many people as was expected. The platform arrangement was altered to try and accommodate more people but the space was just too limited, so the terminus was relocated.

OK lol, but if you can succeed in burning down a deep level station then I take my hat off to you...
