World Cup Sweepstake Teams Drawn!

Post by tubeguru »

OK folks, with all 32 places accounted for I have run the amazing computer program of doom and we have teams!

First of all, I'll list them down in readable format. Then I'll put the entire "printout" of the run so you can see how it went.

So, the teams that the program has chosen are:

tubeguru: Ukraine, France, Costa Rica, Paraguay
nutteronabus: Saudi Arabia
editorsfoot: Ghana
masker: Switzerland
root: Australia, Trinidad & Tobago
goingunderground: Mexico, Togo
jonny: Holland
beary: Spain, Ecuador
petermiller36: Tunisia, Poland
moley: England
fatbuoy: Italy, Brazil, Angola
standclearofthedoors: Portugal
sam: South Korea, Argentina, Iran
Steeeevoooooo: Czech Republic, Japan, Serbia & Montenegro
geoff: Germany
zeibura: Sweden
soupdragon: Ivory Coast
tc: Croatia
richard: USA

Jammy git of the draw: fatbuoy for drawing two teams that could be in the final together.

Moley gets England, Geoff gets Germany and I need France to discover some form or I'm winning zip.

Crap.

Surely, of all those who bought at least one additional team, I have got the weakest selection...

Yes, some of us haven't got great draws. Mine's looking a bit shaky.

Damn that fatbuoy. But let's see what happens ...

I'm quite happy with the draw, it's about time an African nation won the cup. However it will be quite difficult for Ivory Coast to get out of the group with Argentina & Holland.

Yes, anyone with a decent European side, Brazil or Argentina is looking good for a chance of winning something.

Expect an email shortly begging for money.

Bom Dia Standclearofthedoors, a very nice change of your avatar in favour of the Portugese. Good luck to all that have entered and particularly hard luck to Ollie & Kevin for getting the rough end of the pineapple... :D

I have just sent an email to all participants with the exception of Geoff and myself (Geoff has already paid!) asking for your payment.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU'D LIKE TO PAY BY REPLYING TO THE EMAIL ONLY.

PLEASE DO NOT REPLY IN THIS THREAD OR BY PM (unless your email is buggered or you don't receive an email from me).

Is that clear enough? :-)

And once again, good luck to Ukraine, France, Costa Rica and Paraguay!

*ahem*
