Scores after week three, a slight improvement for Going Underground, but not enough to move off the bottom.

1. Soup Dragon - Lancing Beach Green (8) = 84pts
2. Drain Brain - Portsmouth Lakeside (7) = 72pts
3. Das - Letchworth (9) = 66pts
4. Going Underground - Cyclopark (3) = 28pts

One final chance to improve scores this Saturday. I plan to run at Nonsuch so will not improve my score.

Not much hope for me will be at Bushy with Nozza - SD do you fancy joining us as not far from Nonsuch?

The final scores for this round after 27/07

3RD/4TH PLAY OFF

The final round will be played over August, so 5 chances to score. I'm away on 31st August, so Drain Brain could have a slight advantage

I can declare that Drain Brain is our World Cup Scrabble Champion, Many congratulations!

This Saturday I'm running as a 21 minute pacer at Littlehamton Prom, even if I run 20:59 this will not score enough points to surpass Drain Brain.

Going Underground is going to take some beating in the 3rd/4th place play-off, having scored 104 pts at Highbury Fields.

I'll aim to come and join you. I've been intending to do Littlehampton Prom for a while but either the weather or Goodwood events have got in the way.

Of course, I had Queen Elizabeth parkrun as an option on the 31st if needed. :)

That's great, at the moment it looks a decent forecast with fairly gentle winds, which will make a change compared to the last few weeks. I certainly hope its not too windy as it makes running at an even pace quite tricky!

Look forward to seeing you on Saturday, think the only other time we've been at the same event was Pymmes back in 2016.
