The "Floyd" have to be in my top 3 groups of all time, never had the chance to see them live though
They certainly deserved the "top billing" at the live 8 concerts last year, what a show and good to see Waters and Gilmour put there differences behind them, albeit if only for a short a while....
Surely Neil you were not even a twinkling in your dad's eye when
D S of T M was released in 1973 (I think).. where as somehwere (being a spotty adolescent) I have the original on vinyl

I remember my first rock concert seeing pink Floyd in Baton Rouge in the mid 70s. I got pretty $%%$% up! To this day I still sing the song about the mouse ... I got a mouse who hasnt got a house... Gerald! - A cute song but obscure I guess.... Man you may be zone back to the 70s. I feel sooo old!

Oh yes.
The band last night consisted of:
David Gilmour (everything including saxophone!)
Rick Wright (you know who he is)
Guy Pratt (bass)
Jon Carin (keyboards)
Phil Manzanera (guitar)
Some other guy (drums)
Dick Parry (sax)
Robert Wyatt (cornet on one track)
David Crosby and Graham Nash (backing vocals on some tracks)
Mica Paris (guest singer on Great Gig in the Sky)
It was David Bowie special guesting on Monday night.
They filmed Monday and last night for a DVD which is out later this year - don't miss it!

The one with Bowie would have been awesome to go and see. Ant and I are annoyed we didn't know about it! Oh well, hopefully there'll be some other time...
Talking of avatars, I'd really like to make one with me in Chris Preswell's hat. Chris, can you send me or Ant the pics, please?
