Indeed, I've booked Lisbon 7th-20th May, hopefully that should cover at least part of the contest.
Now I just need to persuade Mrs Soup Dragon to join me, she thinks I'm joking about wanting to go to Lisbon.

I dodn't request a new topic as such, as the second line shows, I didn't want it, I just said if, but I should have guessed! I hated Air Portugal when I went out to Lisbon (for the south of the country), so don't go with them (though it may be be because I had to eat the food and don't normally on planes!)

It's not far to Portugal, and you don't change time zones, so I wouldn't even bother eating on the flights.

It was still only a may be! But yes, it was horrible. Avoid any airline food at all costs, and I will just add this, it applies to both!

Poor performance from me, only getting 6/10.
Very surprised that Azerbaijan didn't qualify, the first time ever they've failed to make the finals.
Really pleased for Ireland to qualify from the 'Semi Final of Death', I really didn't expect them to qualify.
Roll on Thursday and we do it all over again :-)

I'm enjoying this year so far! The vocal performances are great, and there's tons of kitsch for everybody! Maybe not such a fan of Lithuania or Ireland, would have preferred Switzerland go through, but most of my favourites did well (go Estonia!).
