I'm on maternity leave at the minute so he just has a five month old to deal with but he has to suffer the chronic illness I have too as well as finish trying to finalise a house move.

I know it's Christmas - but I'm 49 and my family still haven't realised I never have and never will be interested in either ridiculous games (such as sticking a post it on your forehead and you have to guess the name)/charades or board games like Monopoly, Cluedo etc. The latter of which I have never played! I'm quite happy for others to have their fun, I'd rather tidy the kitchen or walk the dog. As a kid I didn't have a party (I didn't want one!) and I do everything I possibly can to avoid going to parties now, they make me feel so uncomfortable. Yes, I am full of Bah Humbug!
