Probably Lordi Finland what a f*****g tune
Or Lena for Germany six years ago.

Disappointed that Iceland missed out, I've become quite partial to Einstok beers over the last few months and was looking forward to another excuse to drink them on Saturday!
Holder of the slowest recorded 274 attempt: 4 months, 1 day, 9 hours, 17 minutes, 32 seconds.

I was fairly confident Iceland would fail to qualify so I had a small £5 bet on them not to qualify at 5-1. The song was okay but a little dated, I think it relied to heavily on the staging and even that was a bit annoying in my opinion. However, I like the fact that you are adopting the "Beerovision" rule of drinking the same beer of the performing country.... keep up the good work :D
One day I shall return!

Nope - that was almost certainly their costumes that won it for them that year. The song was drivel.

She won because she was cute, and everyone (including you) fancied her.

I know what the song is, and it was rubbish. No way would they have won if they just wore normal clothes.

You can't vote tonight. Also, can you change your last post so we can all read it properly?

Conchita in 2014 was the last time the song won the contest, particularly when you realise just who voted for her:

1 point from Azerbaijan;
5 points from Albania;
5 points from Russia;
6 points from Latvia;
10 points from Lithuania;
8 points from Ukraine;
10 points from Georgia;
12 points from Slovenia;

all of whom I wouldn't have expected to vote for the drag act.
1 FNC Completion (PB: 17:18:18 with G Bryant, A Chilcraft, I MacNaughton)
4 Zone Ones (PB: 03:00:35 with G Bryant)
15 R15s (PB: 01:55:48 with T Cooling and R Jackson)
11 All Lines (PB: 00:44:03)
Winner of the 2014 Formula 1 Side Competition

What you mean is that you would not expect the governments of those countries to endorse a homosexual drag queen? The people of those countries are, like us here, much more liberal than their incompetent governments.

Hope that helps.

I would contest this. Russia's "gay propaganda" bill has the backing of ~85% of Russian people, and I don't know if you saw Reggie Yates' documentary on the subject but homophobia is standard practice there.
