Eurovision Song Contest 2016

Post by hopeful traveller »

Odd this year. I seem to like everything everyone else doesn't, like Belgium, Moldova, Finland, Ireland, and the UK. Russia were favourite to win but after first rehearsals they're drifting like a barge and the UK are the big movers in the other direction. General consensus (Wiwibloggs etc) is that UK has the best staging of anybody.
1 FNC Completion (PB: 17:18:18 with G Bryant, A Chilcraft, I MacNaughton)
4 Zone Ones (PB: 03:00:35 with G Bryant)
15 R15s (PB: 01:55:48 with T Cooling and R Jackson)
11 All Lines (PB: 00:44:03)
Winner of the 2014 Formula 1 Side Competition

Oh here we go again. Every year you say the UK will do well, and we never do. We won't do well this year either!

The only reason if we win will be because the stronger in Europe campaign will say it's a major victory

I only watch it for the scores! But it annoys me how France always do it in French so we don't realise they've started until the things move on screen!

I do, but the people saying them seem to talk faster then normal, so all the words blend in with each other

It's imperative to know at least to twelve for Eurovision. "La Royaume Uni: douze points" (has not been said in a very long while)

And yet, part of the French entry is in English.

Also, isn't it le Royaume-Uni?

Apparently so. Had in my head that countries were feminine.
