Re: C Stock Explorer
I do not like the C Stock very much - very bad memories from a Zone 1 Challenge. I was on one of the last, four I think? this evening. See The Triangle of Power - Part 1.
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Re: C Stock Explorer
Where did you find out about the second C Stock tour? I'll probably do both, but the first sounds more interesting

I'm pretty much in agreement with Nozza - I've ridden loads of C stocks, it's pretty unremarkable for me.

Re: C Stock Explorer
The only vaguely good memory of a C Stock I possess is of myself riding from South Kensington to GPS via Aldgate at around 9pm on an almost empty train.

I agree with Iain, AfroBoy, Orange One, Nozza and Kev. Horrible trains! The quicker they go the better!
Mind you the D-Stock however...

Re: C Stock Explorer
I like the D Stock, they're always well ventilated and a lovely ride. Superior acceleration to the 1973 Stock as well, which is always good to know when travelling between ECT and Hammersmith.

Re: C Stock Explorer
The D Stock will be a sad sight to see leaving us, but nowhere near as sad as the A Stock's farewell was

I'm afraid I prefer a C Stock to a D Stock, the Dodgy District always fails me.
