PMs

Post by Iain »

I'm struggling with the private messaging system - I've typed my message and pressed submit, but it's been stuck in my out box for the last couple of days. It also hasn't appeared in my "sent" folder.

Sending a message shouldn't be this difficult? What do I need to do please?

If it is still in your out box, it just means that the recipient hasn't opened it yet. When he/she does it will automatically transfer to the sent folder. (This is a common system across a number of different forum formats.)

Ahhhhh - ok, thanks Nigel. :)

Well that's a relief at least. I know php boards are fairly common but it's a bit counter-intuitive in its use of terminology.

I've had one sitting in my outbox since 7th November. Waiting for the day the recipient decides to visit the forum again and see what I said to him/her.
