Reading that a bolt of lightning is due to strike Harlesden on November 12, 1955 (it strikes the Harlesden Jubilee Clock), he begins to hook up the clock to the Bakerloo southbound tracks at Harlesden. Morty tells him there's not enough track from Harrow and Wealdstone or Elephant and Castle to reach 88mph, but Doc reminds him the line goes as far back as Watford Junction.

After a string of mishaps and grandfather paradoxes, Doc successfully sends Morty back to 1985.
