Did Henley Wood, Oswestry parkrun this morning. 2 laps with a mixture of tarmac, woodland trail and grass and some tight technical bits. Enjoyable but the heavy rain last night meant some areas were very slippery and trail shoes were definitely required! As I wasn't wearing any, an energy-sapping run resulted in a 26:02.

Met up with Andi and Kev today at Hanworth, a really nice new addition to London. Pancake flat, very few turns to slow you down and a good surface. All that plus a friendly team led to a very enjoyable run.

Felt like I knew every blade of grass, we used to do 1 lap round as warm up for football training - so seemed a long old run having to do two an a bit!! - Great to see so many others tourists and locals there that I know and apologies for having to shoot off so quick to get over to Gloucs for footie

I was pacing at Littlehampton Prom ahead of the Three Forts Half Marathon today.
Offered to pace at 25 mins, so I don't think anyone could complain at my time of 24:58. Got three thank you's from runners setting new PB's :D
Also managed to get a Stopwatch Bingo, I knew i'd be close to 58 or 59 and I need both of those :P

Next week I'm off to Uckfield if anyone else fancies it, this kills two birds with one stop, U for the alphabet and #2 for my Wilson index.
I don't really care about these pointless challenges but if you're going to do a run you might as well tick some boxes

Sorry to be lazy, I typed up this weeks report and then it vanished....!
Can't be bothered to type it again, so I will just post the link to the full details.

Well done everyone, some great performances this weekend.

Why not join me at Uckfield? They are less than 30 minutes apart?

I just noticed that for the Alphabet Challenge they've already taken Zary out of the results for Andi & Geoff.
I thought if you already did Zary they said it would still count as Z?
We need to get the official line, so I can adjust our data accordingly.

Results have been rejigged at Heartlands thankfully as I had run a course best time of 24.30 and had managed to sneak inside the top 20 but was given 24:51 and 20th place. So correct time now official nice to go sub 25 two weeks running. Back to marshalling next week as running an off road half marathon on Sunday.

I met up with Das and Andi at East Grinstead for a really twisty but fun course. Andi was tail walking with someone who eventually came in around 85 minutes. I was mainly walking but managed around half that even though I was only a few places ahead. Definitely recommemded!

Thanks Nozza, I will adjust before publishing.
