11 runners this week, well done on braving it on a very cold Saturday morning.
The cold air killed my lungs and I was struggling for breath after 500m, probably set off too quickly!

This Weeks Highlights
Soup Dragon ran a SB of 21:43 at Worthing
Crunchy Saviour ran a SB of 22:29 at Rushmere, finishing in a SB of 17th place.
Geofftech ran a SB at Roding Valley in 31:21, finishing in 82nd also a SB.
Das finished in 87th at Henstridge Airfield to set a SB.
Tractakid is our inaugural runner at Sutton Park, setting the benchmark at 25:27

No medals changed hands, but with Andi & Das running at Henstridge Airfield, medals are now awarded.
Andi claims Gold, Going Underground takes Silver (based on a previous run), and Das gets the Bronze.

Full table is here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Blimey that makes a nice change I have been losing them rapidly over the last few weeks

Because I was running with the dog I sacrifices a start position to go at the back soon realised this was a mistake as me and finlay zoomed through the field I think if I had run alone I might have won 2 weeks in a row but never mind doggy had nice run.

Assuming it's not cancelled again! Weather forecast looks good though.

It wasn't! Windy as hell but apart from that really springlike, An absolute gem of a course, and the warm, friendly team. Plus two cakes, the real Cass Castleton and a woman singing show tunes rather breathlessly just behind me.

We ended up in the same pub as when we did Ellenbrook, and it wasn't great. One of the most expensive 'spoons I've been in, one person serving in spite of a long queue, similar at the coffee machine, and I had to borrow another table's condiments. Shame.

Yep don't go to St Albans spoons course was great made some good friends reasonable time considering the mud and the hills sorry Kevin took another gold off you. Strange coincidences at this firstly we chatted to a girl on train who was going to St Albans but decided to join us then she saw her friends on train who strangely going to same Parkrun so we made a lovely group.

Then as the first timer briefing she says where you from I say Bournemouth girl next to me says I'm from Bournemouth so chatting to her I find she is the rd of Upton house Parkrun the very people I sent an email to only 5 days ago about volunteering for juniors she couldn't believe it nor could I

And I also made the top 100 in the world for different Parkruns not bad for someone who really only started beginning 2016

Jersey Farm wasn't on the medals table yet, so technically Kevin didn't lose a Gold, he actually gained a Silver :D

A very windy weekend, and also a very bury one with 14 of us lacing up our running shoes.

This Weeks Highlights
Crunchy Saviour had a SB place and time, 4th at Rushmere in 22:26, this equals his best ever finish
Matthewcook18 also had PB place & SB time, 11th at Heartlands in 22:49
Tubeguru joined the SB club, 117th at Plymvalley in 29:11
Geoffech is also in the SB club, 36th at Hazelwood in 30:26
DrainBrain ran his 50th different course at Northampton, equalling his SB of 28:43
Soup Dragon joins the tourists with his 20th different course, East Brighton, equalling his SB of 12th place.

Medals awarded for the first time at Jersey Farm, Andi grabs Gold, Going Underground snatches Silver, and Iain gets Bronze.
At Heartlands medals change hands, Matthew cook takes Gold from Soup Dragon, meaning Soup Dragon now has Silver and Nozzacook drops to Bronze.
At Hazelwood Geofftech runs himself into Silver, with Iain now down to Bronze and Going Underground drops out of the medals.

East Brighton, Northampton and Houghton Hall are now on course wars but not yet in the medals table.
