I would be surprised if parkrun try to start anything before March. Biggest problem they will have is land owners giving permission for it to take place..

You need to read the bulletin again . The words "possibility " and "some" were used
Tom William's has no balls and it's up to the event directors.

As I said above without permission of land owners it can’t happen and at the time of writing National Trust are not allowing organised events on their land. The same can be said for many councils.

So the decision isn’t in the hands of the event directors.

Just been looking through my Parkrun stats and the most recent one was 9 months ago at Osterley, hoping to get some new trainers soon so I can hopefully get under 25 minutes again! I did it once in April but haven't repeated it since!

Not sure if (Not) Parkrun runs count towards stats but I've just done Basingstoke in 28:55. Given it was the first 5k I've run since early April, that was a bit harder than I thought and that I really should get some new trainers as my hip is probably going to be knackered for the next week!

Well done! Not sure if Soupy will update (or even should update) the stats for a non official run though... the stats still havent been updated for the last pre-covid official runs though!

My daughter did her first junior parkrun last Sunday. Did it in about 23 mins. Not sure of accurate time as I forgot to stop my watch! Finished 91st out of 92

And we're back..... well at least in England, although Geofftech did run in Belfast last week.

Here is the updated sheet for this week. Thanks to Matt Scrivin's skills, anyone on a run-streak prior to lock-down will have kept it.

Well done to Dudey, running a PB of 20:45 at Whitstable on the first week back

Made a very last minute decision to go to one. Ran 8k beforehand and timed it to arrive at the start at 8:55. The start line was spaced out but I still wore a mask, after well over a year of running alone I wasn't comfortable being around so many people.

I decided to stick with it until at least the first turn (0.66km in), and if my anxiety got too much I'd just keep running straight along the prom when everyone else turned back on themselves. Thankfully the groupings of people thinned out and I was comfortable enough to take my mask off about about a mile.

Finished just under 28 minutes, three minutes off my pb time but pretty good for my first parkrun after a long warm-up run beforehand! Looking forward to two week's time when Lancing reopens.

Also, some bloke called Rob Lomas keeps giving me kudos on Strava, which one of you is he?
