My own shortened version of around 2.15km is getting better, this takes me through my local park for about 400 metres and the rest is road running and the 4 attempts so far have been 12:29, 12:27, 12:25, 12:21 :shock: Will be a slower time coming up soon surely...

By my reckoning, at the current rate of improvement, you should be breaking the 5000m world record in about a years time.

Which method did you use to determine this information?

You have reduced your PB by 594 seconds in 161 days, so about 3.7 seconds per day. All you have to do is continue improving at the same rate!

So, if you improve by 3.7 seconds per day, you will be able to run it in zero seconds in slightly less than two years!

A model similar to:

y=(1/x)+(World Record) would be better
