I know, I know - it's only been about a year and three quarters or so since my last run, so thought I should dust off the running shoes and have a go. I must have been drunk when I decided it was a good ideatubeguru wrote:Yes!tractakid wrote:Steeevooo actually ran again?

I'll be out running again when my foot is better. I went over on it a couple of weeks ago and it's still not got full range of movement.

As I have stupidly entered a 10k next month, I feel I really should break my parkrun streak on Saturday.

Updated with two weeks' worth of stuff.
We have a new worst run streak after Sam did a run, and Geoff is only five runs ahead of tractakid in the overall number of runs column.

Update has been done. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
Not much to report, but Nozza has beaten Geoff's Southwark CB by two seconds, and scrxisi gets 50 runs at that venue.

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
Although it wont show on the parkrun results page I was really pleased to run a CB at the new home of "Homewood" taking over a minute off my previous time there
For those that don't know they had to change venues after 12 events from Homewood, which was a fairly flat course mainly on tarmac to an all "trail" course through the woods and up the hills at Ottershaw memorial fields but kept the "Homewood" name...
Basically anyone that has run both courses will be very hard pressed to beat the time run in the first 12 events....

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
Yes it the same event for some bizzare reason they had to leave Homewood after 12 events, moved 2 miles down the road to Ottershaw and didn't change the name...A Challenge wrote: ↑10 Jun 2017, 16:53I think he means that the CB won't show as its the same event!

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
So essentially, they've changed venues but kept the name? In that case until they do you'll have to be shown as not having run a new "event", and you won't get a CB. You wouldn't have been shown as having one at your first run at a new venue anyway.Going Underground wrote: ↑10 Jun 2017, 19:10Yes it the same event for some bizzare reason they had to leave Homewood after 12 events, moved 2 miles down the road to Ottershaw and didn't change the name...A Challenge wrote: ↑10 Jun 2017, 16:53I think he means that the CB won't show as its the same event!
