It's quite bizarre how even when we do know what each other look like that we can still miss people.
I think a couple of us have not seen Geofftech recently when we've been at the same run. I missed him at Clair, but to be honest I'm usually focussed on my pre-run routine and not really expecting to see anyone I know.

Is that because according to many twitter users Geoff is the only tube challenger.

Made an effort to visit the final running of Bodelwyddan Castle parkrun- realising I had Friday afternoon off work, I decided to ascend Snowdon before staying the night. Really fun woodland section to the route.

The castle is closing in order to be sold.

Weekly Highlights 29JUN

Only 10 Runners this week
2 new courses, Trelissick and Bodelwyddan Castle
It was probably a bit hot to expect many records this week
geofftech had a SB finish of 22nd at Hanworth and is now "Lon-Done" again
Iain completed his 100th run at Bracknell
tractakid sets a time unlikely to be beaten of 27:10 at Bodelwyddan Castle, as the event is now closed.
Nozzacook sets the benchmark at Trelissick in 32:58
A top 10 finish for Soup Dragon at Cranleigh, 6th place in a time of 19:55

Medals Update
At Bracknell, Andi claims the (GOLD) so Matthewcook18 slips to (SILVER) and nozzacook to (BRONZE), Going Underground now out of the medals
At Cranleigh, Soup Dragon takes (GOLD), meaning Andi drops to (SILVER) and Going Underground to (BRONZE), Iain slips out of the medals
At Hanworth, geofftech moves into (SILVER) so Going Underground drops to (BRONZE), bad news for Iain as he loses another medal.

I've just noticed, haven't a couple of people completed the Alpahbet? I'm sure Geoff has been to Zary, Poland. Not sure about anyone else off the top of my head...

Andi#s done it too, but Zary has an accent above the Z which now makes it not acceptable for the alphabet

Sounds like I made a good choice to go for my Y and do Yeovil instead.
There will be more trips to Cornwall so plenty of time to do Trelissick.
Really enjoyed Cranleigh, can't believe I managed sub 20 on a cross country course.
I had a great breakfast after (Not at the recommended cafe though) It was at Yangaz which is in the village, really tasty but a bit pricey.

Ah that makes sense if a little harsh... I suppose you have to be consistent though

You have to remember that all of the challenges are un-official and not endorsed by parkrun.
parkrun corrected the spelling from Zary to Żary, which is what it porbably should have been from the start.
Anyone who ran it when it was still Zary, fair enough if they want to count it, but in the end of the day the challenges are all just personally meaningful and not the end of the world.
