Hope you've both got strong ankles, as most of the course is on a slope!Going Underground wrote:Yep doing Yeovil on the way down to Cornwall

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
After two tough Cornish courses (Mount Edgumbe and Lanhydrock) I will have a chance to try my new home Parkrun at Worthing. The start is around 2km from my home so a nice little jog to get me warmed up for the big event.
One day I shall return!

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
I was at the new Penrose course last Saturday. The new course has the potential for being an overall parkrun PB. I ran 25:45 with one of the under 11's from the Harriers. With lots left and could have easily run it a lot faster. I will return to Penrose 9th July for a proper go.
26 miles 385yards in 4h 14m 40s.

Re: Tube Challenge parkrun league...
Fair point. I'm going to have to be here on the 23rd, travelling to London after, so I was just hoping not to miss on the R15 parkrun meetup!Going Underground wrote:Unlikely a jaunt upto MK after full network on the Friday.....tractakid wrote:Two weeks in a row?Going Underground wrote:16th for metractakid wrote:Pre-R15 meetup on the 23rd?
It'd be nice to have a tube challenge mass visit at one point, on a week when I'm not run directing and have the chance to socialise with everyone.
Kevin if you want to chat on the 16th I encourage you to stick around for lunch (more than welcome) as I'm gonna be completely and utterly preoccupied to stop and chat before then most likely! If I'm being being honest it's not an ideal week to come and visit but that doesn't stop you from being welcome.

Tractakid's runs will be fewer as this gets going, while he trains some other RDs up.
