rhubarbrhubarb (Roger)

Post by tangy »

I would just like to let you all that know rhubarbrhubarb (my usual assistant on Zone 1 days) a little update with regards to his wellbeing.

He hasn't been in too good a health recently, but has been in hospital for the past month awaiting an operation, which is due to take place tomorrow. All being well there is at least a month of recovery to which doing anything strenous wouldn't be advised. Therefore his appearance at this years Zone 1 is dependant on him being fully recovered and fit enough to travel in a crowded Tube train.

Thanks

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Please pass on my best wishes for a speedy recovery - although I don't really know him very well, he always seemed very dedicated and efficient on Zone 1 Day. I would hope to see him there again this year - fingers crossed.

Just an update:

Roger's operation was successful and is now out of hospital. He is recovering well from the operation at a relative's house, he can get online via a laptop but not onto this site (as the password for this site is on his home computer)! He is grateful however for all the messages of support.

It is with my deepest regret to say that Roger sadly passed away this afternoon, the cause of death is as yet unconfirmed.

Will be missed
