Looking at TfL future track closures, I noticed that on Sunday 9th June the Metropolitan is fully open. So I'll set that as the date for the moment.

It's about 34 miles visiting every intermediate station between Chesham and Aldgate.

Question is......how long would an FNC take by bike (no trains allowed)?
2 attempts
2 completions
(Not getting much quicker)

The topic of visiting zone 1 by bike came up a few years ago and it was estimated as about 30 miles (similar to the Met Line). I guess a FNC by bike would be at least 150 miles, maybe more.

I'm still planning on doing this cycle ride. Probably be arriving about 10 or 11am ish at Chesham. If anyone would like to join me, I'll probably be able to fit another bike into my car.

Hopefully we can do this again next year as I would be up for it, unfortunately will be at work all weekend on OT due to problems with our new computer system that was switched live on 1st June :(

For those who don't follow Glen on twitter, he's feeling rather deflated, as are his tyres :(
