Acton Open Day - 6th October

Post by snudge27 »

I'm going to be pootling down to London on Saturday for the depot open day, and was wondering if anyone else will be going along? Failing that, would anyone be up for a drink and perhaps some darts later in the day?

I aim to be there, at least on one of the days, not least to get my hands on a full blindset (with box) that were fitted to the A stock!

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

They're actually selling those? Can you get me one?

Seriously.

They were supposed to be on sale at the makeshift "shop" at Amersham on Saturday, but there was only so much space in the back of a Transit, so the blindboxes had to be left behind at Acton!

I think they were £150 or something like that at Amersham - am sure Tangy will know their actual price (we have hidden the merch list for now, lest I get into a "shopping" mode...!)

Are you planning to confuse the Devon folk by displaying Chesham on the front of your train?

That's a good idea. It would fit nicely along the top of an HST windscreen. This is why I need one!
