At the EATM trolleybus gala on Saturday I managed to pick up a copy of Paul Moss' 'Underground Movement' for £15 (rrp £30).

It makes for a brilliant read, detailing the design evolution of LU trains throughout the 20th century, including a number of prototype designs that were never taken up, for whatever reason, including the Space Train and the fore-runner of the new S-Stock, the so-called 'Accessible Train'.

Definitely worth a look if this is the sort of thing that interests you, and you can pick up used copies for £15 on Amazon at the moment:
