Re: 150 Years of the Underground
10th Jan sounds good to me
Map I found was from 1934 so a bit later and goes out to Aylesbury, guess it didn't at the time of the original.

Re: 150 Years of the Underground
Re-jigged the route:
Shoeburyness Upminster Aldgate East Shoreditch High Street New Cross Gate New Gate Canada Water London Bridge Elephant & Castle Baker Street Wembley Park Northwick Park Wembley Park Stanmore Edgware Camden Town Archway Kennington Morden Morden Road Wimbledon Paddington (Cir/Dis) Lancaster Gate Queensway Liverpool Street Temple Aldwych Temple Gloucester Road Cockfosters Finsbury Park Old Street Angel Moorgate Hammersmith (Cir/H+C) Hammersmith (Dis/Pic) Hatton Cross Feltham Richmond South Acton Chiswick Park West Kensington Kensington (Olympia) Shepherd's Bush (Overground) Shepherd's Bush Holland Park Ealing Broadway Ealing Common Uxbridge West Harrow North Harrow Watford Watford Junction Queen's Park Baker Street Chesham Chalfont & Latimer Aylesbury
This gives an estimate time of 16hours 33min!
Strange that this roughly a time similar to the current modern record...

Re: 150 Years of the Underground
Hmmm we're not going to get time for a celebratory drink afterwards as a group then! Not sure if that matters to people or not.

Re: 150 Years of the Underground
Start with the first train out Shoeburyness at 04:20am. However, the route is not perfect. It does involve a 20min wait at Chalfont & Latimer and a 7 min run between West Harrow to North Harrow.palkanetoijala31 wrote:what time starting in shoeburyness?
