I doubt they say these things with malice, I would imagine friendly banter is at the heart. I would like to see the thread, it could be quite funny.

I'm disappointed by the 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown new mash-ups. The first one was very good, the second one less so, this one... Bleurgh.

When I turned up at the C5 studio in 2004 to appear on Brainteaser, one of the other contestants mentioned he'd been on Countdown.

It wasn't until after he'd knocked me out in the first round that he revealed he was that year's series champion!
