It's very good, Geoff. Must have been a lot of work.

Out of interest, have you heard from TfL's lawyers recently? I remember what happened with your map variations a few years ago.

they were a little upset when i had all the map variants up on my public facing webpage, yes. that page does now not contain all the variants...

with this map, i'd still like to get Waterloo down from three blobs to two (or even one!), but i can't think of a way of doing it. you can't have have the Bakerloo line touching the Northern Line as that would suggest that they're sharing tracks, which they're obviously not. anyone?

You could go back to the old Waterloo Jubilee style, which was a straight, diagonal line between Green Park and (near to) Southwark. Then it would cross the Northern and Bakerloo lines at an angle and could share a blob with one of them?

Cool map I'll be using it for route planning!

Though I didn't realise there's a secret station between Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road on the Central line!

What's it's name?
Samworth? Nozza Hill? Kevinington? St. Andi's Park? Geoff Green? James Square? ...

I prefer that map compared to the overloaded other map :P

Although, I do miss the zones but purely as a reference/location thingy. But thats my personal opinion.

Not bad.

But I have an A1-sized map (Feb '06) on my wall, BEFORE disabled blobs and I really liked it.

One thing: I hate "West Harrow" on two lines :P
And, erm.. since when did Uxbridge Road exist (Should be Shepherd's Bush Market)

But the Overground line touches the district at West Brompton...

If you move Waterloo down a bit, then with the the Jubilee will probably bisect the Bakerloo before turning towards Southwark.

I think, in hindsight, the only problem with the zones was that they are too darkly tinted (look at early 00's for just the right balance) but you did need them there.

So, does that mean that Latimer Road goes to Latimer?

Not sure about the Wood Lane/White City interchange. I've never done it but on the official map it says that it is the same (in theory) as Bank/Monument. Same goes for Bow Road/Bow Church.

I'm also slightly confused by something. Look at Ealing Common and then Aldgate.

Ealing Common is two "ticks" but Aldgate is a blob.

I think it's to do with the fact that Aldgate is the last place you can change with the circle line, similar why rayners lane is marked as an interchange yet the other pic/met stations are just ticks, but saying that, EC was shown with an interchange symbol so I could be wrong?
