Why not just cut the rubbish and use a no-nonsense geographical one?
(Or a geographical one warped such that the outer edges have the same station-spacing as Z1)

I like his idea of being able to filter out certain stuff on the new map, and I love the way KC/St. P looks on it in the video. I love geographical tube maps.
