Not only was HotH in knid, is was knid of the vermicious kind so that inverts the polarity of the Northern line (Bank branch only after Coxon's Gambit of course).

Latimer Road is a fine move, notwithstanding the spoonness of the H&C line following my move of a few days ago.

As it's a Wednesday I am well within my rights to play:

Neasden

Playing it safe, I therefore bring us back down the Jubilee Line and into the Great Wall of Charing Cross, as the triple-Ongar Caxton Curve subterranean surface shuffle neatly displays the possession of...

Wembleeeeeeeeeeee? For the Zone D Thunderer?

In order to avoid Bakerloo blunderers I shall employ Smith's Mask Reversal and make my way down to:

Gadzooks!

If Gate Gourmet hadn't caused chaos in the catering matrix recently I could have taken us all the way to LAX. As it is, I'll play an eastern hemispherial diagonal shift to:

Bangkok International

Interesting move earlier, tubeguru, and I think the Umpire would not be wrong in issuing you an Aldgate Beast Bonus for that.

As it stands, diagonals from Bangkok cannot be cut regarding the Kuala Lumpur Convention, taking us back towards the MC board, as far as

Lille Europe.

At this point in the game I would like to assess the situation regarding podumes (some of you may know these as "tokens").

hwolge : One red podume for invoking Mornington Crescent.

tubeguru: Three yellow, one alkali earth and seven assorted Sundry tokens of varying Charm. Beware the selection of the home station of another player!!

PFW: Just three Special tokens, mostly of relevant Mu.

No other players currently hold tokens. Those who do are at no particular advantage as a board inversion is currently in progress.

The current Token Table can be viewed at http://www.dunx.org/white-rose/podumes.html

Ah yes. That's usually the table I refer to for all matters podume.

Well, from Lille, I think it's about time we got this game back to the local quadrant with a cunning move to .....

Charing Cross (Bakerloo)

that doesn't work - no matter what rules we're playing, in current 4th edition 2004 rules charing cross is one station, northern and bakerloo, and if you are still playing vintage, it was still one station but with district and circle line aswell. had you said trafalgar square, the move would have been safe, but no, the northern line is also flombarded aswell now, so wait for it...

Ah, I see that Baker Street is now held stationary for three moves due to the Circle Line reversal, and the "Zorro" cruciform shunt has forced Zeibura into Knip.

That means that with four tokens in hand, I can employ Boardman's Combined Stations, taking into account the Grithiffths Convention, and play

TOOTING RUISLIP.

Boardman's Combined Stations shall remain in play until the end of the current round (not, note, the end of the game).

I will expend one Charm token to follow you to the northwestern quadrant, and continue Boardman's Combined Stations, taking myself to

Chorleywood-on-the-Hill & Latimer.

This blocks Zeibura partially from the left and places all Zone 6 stations in Spoon.

It's been a while since I've seen Boardman's used in a game.

This round could be lengthy as I have just noticed a discombobulation on the live rail at Goodge Street. Hopefully, it should pass before I have to pick up a blue token so I shall play the always elegant:

St John's Castle

Moving to the north-east by use of the rarely-discussed Abercrombie-Grunwald Conjugal Pavane (the details of which were expunged from Mrs Trellis' third volume of memoirs for legal reasons), we arrive at
