Some of you may have already seen the How London was Built series that was on ITV1 recently. There were two episodes that may have been of interest, one was about "Railways" and included the Leinster Gardens false house story - see my blog where imitation houses were built to disguise the cut and cover tunnels.
The next episode - Tunnels & Trains - featured: From Brunel’s Rotherhithe Tunnel to the King’s Cross Channel Tunnel link Adam Hart Davis looks at the history of tunnelling in the capital.
This episode is being repeated on The History Channel from September 29th - October 2nd.

I am fully convinced that you lot are now going out of your way to find old threads and reply to them in a relevant context.
