What have I missed?

Having taken a self-imposed sabbatical of several months, I have now returned. As I can't really be bothered to look through what seems like a million and one messages, would anyone be kind enough to summarise what I may or may not have missed?!

Essentially all you have missed is some foreign idiot running round the tube every day in an attempt to do all the stations at least once a month.

Apart from that, nothing.

That has nothing to do with tube challenging.

As he is one of my friends on Facebook so there is a good chance he will have seen my marital status on there if he's been paying attention.

Hi Steve

Well Joy54 is still the current GWR holder for just over 1 year now and apart from Andi there haven't been too many attempts because the time is a tough nut to crack...

In March a team of around 12 to 15 of us did the full network on red nose day in fancy dress, mainly super heroes and yours truly as 118 118...

We had the usual good turn out for Z1 day in May I would say there was around 35 people taking part...

We have a regular Random 15 championship where "grand prix" points are up for grabs. These are held on a Saturday and we have 4 to 5 of these a year followed by darts at The Horse & Groom

Next one is scheduled in Sept. starting from Aldwych

We did the new configuration of the 128 snake last week, Epping

Heathrow, 3 x teams of 2 people finishing in around 6 1/2 hours......

There will be a full network for CiN on 20th November, staring station yet to be confirmed..

There are several new active members both posting on the forum and coming out and doing challenges....

I have probably missed some stuff but that is a brief summary.....

I did indeed see your change in marital status Neil, I'm pretty sure I mentioned it on your facebook at the time, but many congratulations

So the Flying Finn is still flying around the tube then - how many attempts/completions/records are you on now Andi?!

Sounds as though there has been a good few alternative challenges happening - who won the Z1 this year? And starting the R15 at Aldwych? That's an interesting one - how does that work exactly, or have the "rules" changed since I was last here?

There haven't been any more Tube Challenge entries into quizzes etc then?

It is in memory of Aldwych closing 15 years ago, you can either run to another tube station or get a bus, special rules for this one off special

Yes sorry we have 2 x quizzes regularly each week

Ah yep good point, these are forum photo quizzes, Andi was trying to get a team up for another TV quiz show wasn't he?
