Guided Tour: Underground Style on the Piccadilly Line

Post by Soup Dragon »

For anyone interested I just found details on the TFL site about this guided tour:

Sunday 22 June
Guided tour: Underground style on the Piccadilly Line
Time: 11.00-13.00
Admission: £12 adults, £10 concessions
Advance ticket booking: 020 7565 7298

This guided exploration of the underground will feature architecture and design from the 1930s when the classic house style was established in the new stations designed by Charles Holden for the extension of the Piccadilly Line. We visit Arnos Grove, Oakwood, Southgate and Cockfosters stations with London Transport Museum's Head Curator, Oliver Green and design historian David Lawrence.
One day I shall return!
