First attempt - 58 steps. A few too many I think.
Current best: 19:51:10 (2014). Hopefully that will be broken in 2018 :-)

It's not how many changes you make, it's how fast you use them.

Shonen Knife TG? As in the Japanese Punk/Pop band? Or is it just a coincidence?

Ah, when they still had their original line-up. I like Michie the best.

I'm a complete newbie here, so I guess I should say "Hi".

I'm Nick and I live in Portsmouth, which isn't really the best place to start any tube challenge. I'm as many years old as the percentage of the LU that's in a tunnel (according to TfL's key facts page). I'm semi-retired, but I used to be an accountant until I realised that Monty Python were right all along.

I recently did my first, and so far only, tube challenge of any sort when I completed a Zone 1 Challenge in 3h 17m 5.7s**. Hopefully, after the summer, I'll get to at least a few of the organised challenges.

I'm not fat, I am balding, and I only occasionally wear glasses. I'm bad at darts, but good at quizzes, though probably not at quizzes about the tube.

** Allowing for an Edgware Road (Bakerloo) pass-through.

Heathrow Terminal 4 to Amersham in 17 hours, 42 minutes and 22 seconds

Welcome! Congrats on completing the Zone 1 tube challenge! It would be cool to see you at any future organised events. The next one proposed would be a full network attempt in August! A long day, but nothing to be afraid of. http://tubeforum.co.uk/forum/index.php? ... =viewtopic

Where did you start and finish Z1?

You are at at least a decade younger than I am, so plenty of time for active challenging left!

Thank you, and everyone else, for the welcome. I'm not sure I'm ready for a FNC just yet, especially not in the heat of August. More likely is that I'll try to get to the next R15.

I started at Vauxhall and ended at Southwark. To avoid hijacking this thread I've posted a write-up in Alternative Challenge Chat.

Hey Guys,
I am Cameron. I am one of the few Under eighteen year old challengers. I was born in the late 1990's and Do not participate in the Tube challangej Alone, I was introduced to It by a friend at school.
I am not fully addicted to trains and have a passion for flight. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy trains though.

Would this be a Rhys? If so, Jackson or Benjamin? Welcome to the forum. Have you done any challenges so far?
