Why would they not be allowed?

I would have thought that a forward support team was quite a reasonable thing to use if you had the means to use one!

I guess support teams can hold doors and create delays if the need arises. It also depends on how you view challenging. I have been known to a bit of rock climbing in my time, and some serious climbers believe that you do it alpine style in one go with no additional support others take the siege mentality you go up and down and place supplies where you are going to need them. Potentially you could get enough supporters in place to hold every train, bus, keep escalators free on the left and give updates on oncoming trains to ensure you got the record.

Good point.

On topic... I think the calendar is a great idea and would certainly use it.

Off topic... Sorry Moley, I got out of bed the wrong side this morning, I did not mean to be rude but I don't think that we've ever tried to bend any rules.

after seeing the calender it seems very simple and would be a good way to get every one a bit more into tube challenge

And about support teams holding doors i think this is aloud as long as they do not delay the train massively

Ollie, I've created a google calendar account and I've added to the calendar a DLR challenge on 31st July. I think I've set it up correctly, can you see if the details are there?

No, it doesn't seem to be there. Are you sure you didn't add it to your own personal calendar?

PM me your Google account address and I will add you to the permissions list to edit the Tube Challenge calendar.
