I have noticed that several people choose to log into the forum "anonymously". That is, their username is hidden from the list of users on the forum at the bottom of the screen. Of course, I can see you (your name appears in italics).
I just wondered why some users choose to do this.

Probably because they tick boxes without thinking. The only use I could think of for doing so is to be sneaky when tumbleweed was more competitive.

I did it initially for the Tumbleweed games so no-one could see when I was lurking with regards to making a claim. I haven't bothered to change it back since...
