Drinking Challenge

Post by the_tube_boy »

The main aim of the challenge is to visit all 27 stations on the Circle line, getting off at each station, visiting a pub, having a drink, getting back on the train and travelling to the next station, so by the end of the day you hav visited 27 stations, 27 pubs and had 27 ALCOHOLIC drinks, and of course be completely hammered.

Bit old hat though, isn't it? The Wimbleware alternative is better/different?

Do the District-Wimbleware line, and do a pub at each.

Just a different thought .. !

This is not that an original idea - Huge numbers of young New Zealanders living in London have been doing the "Circle Line Pub Crawl" every Waitangi Day (NZ's national day on Feb 6) for at least the past 10 years!!! Its ever featured on websites and magazines. :D

A more sensible idea is to roll a dice at each pub, and that's the number of stops you continue around the Circle Line for. The average is then going to be 3-4, so you end up having about 8 drinks (which is quite enough for me!).

Sounds like you're more suited to a pub crawl along the Waterloo & City..
