Zone 1 Winner??

Post by moley »

Well I cannot believe that some six and a half hours after it finished, no one has been on here to comment on the winner.

Was the winner confirmed as 66 Feet Under with their time of 2hr 56min, 51sec? I know that they were leading when I left.

Anyway, congrats to everyone who took part - and thanks to those that organised it.

Same time next year???

I've been checking every 10 mins since 4pm. How sad is that?

This is taking longer than I thought it might! might not have it up until tomorrow. i want to watch the FA Cup AND Eurovision after all !

Neil's photos have yet to be developed. Can anyone else that took photos be kind enough to send them through to me?

Anyway. 18 teams took part.

1st Hakan & Patwick - 2h 56m 51s
2nd Erin & Peter - 2h 57m 5s
3rd Geoff 'n' Neil! - 2h 57m 24s
4th Anthony & Adham - 3h 1m 59s

ie.. less than a minute in the top 3 places.

18th place (honourable mention) goes to Chris & Andrew ("King's Cross-Dressing Pancreas") with 3hours 57minutes and 58seconds. (At least they got sub-4 hour!)

Full write up (i'm making an effort) to come ... Neil will put one on tubechallenge.com too as well, natch.

Could anyone who took photos also email them to me (if you'd be so kind)?

Thanks!

I took a few pictures; the best ones being one of the assembled throng before the event and a coupleof the winners collecting their trophy from a somewhat miffed-looking Geoff 'n' Neil!

I'm in the KCL library now so I can't send them. I will when I get home (about 8pm or so).

Where we miffed? I don't remember being miffed .. it was such a fun day anyway, and as insisted from the start, we didn't make an effort to win!

I'm now wondering thought what would have happened if we HAD of really gone for it!

I honestly wasn't trying to look miffed .. Hakan & Patrick are worthy winners.
