I'm not posting the results because you demanded me to. I'm posting them because it's a website about the tube challenge and the variations thereof.

And I look forward to typing your name at the bottom of the list

I know that, Sir. I know that you are under no obligation to do anything that I ask (or "tell") you to. I just think that a lot of incessant, light-hearted slave-driving is quite amusing. It may not seem like much of a joke if I do it all the time, but it is a joke. Well, I'm not being entirely serious, at least. I know you don't have the time to update the site all the time; I have a site myself and I certainly don't have the time (can't be bothered) to update that every day or even every time anything interesting happens in the House of Steel.

*Looks back*

Arrgh, of course I was being unreasonable when I said "I expect to see a comprehensive results table". I don't expect to see anything! It will be nice to see the results, but don't think that I'll be annoyed if you put them online a couple of days late.

PS. I know that you, Neil and Geoff have formulated a plan to trip me over or prevent me from getting on a train in order to push me down the results list. I will not stand for it.

(^That was a joke.)

I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those meddling world record holders....

I tried... I did 200, but only because there was no service to Kensington Olympia and had to give up! I'll be back! For I am a MAN! Cover up those table legs, Mother! They are inflaming my sexual ardour!

I'll put your attempt at 275 up at some point. Maybe you should email me with full details of what happened. You know the address.

They've still got a man who takes your horse and feeds it for you.

Indeed. A flaggon of ale is a mere two and a half groats.

Upon my word Sir, 'tis a fine place that furnisheth its guests thus.

I shall sally forth with all speed (once I have, of course, completed a quick tour of the public transport system beneath the ground of London Town).

Maybe the BBC, the ES or SURE will broadcast the winner before anyone posts it here.

Well BBC London said "no", but instead I had ITV London (television) call me up .. and they sounded interested .. right up until the point that I explained it to them - and then they sounded less interested !

50p says that they won't show!

What?! That's really disappointing. It's a big event, too, with 20 teams. And it's suitably bizarre for an "and finally" news slot. I'd broadcast it on House of Steel TV if it existed.
