Ha ha luv it, 17 routes to try all starting at Epping and ending at Heathrow and my journey starts from Hatton Cross
I think we will stick with the Harrow and W plan for the time being

I find it quite staggering that we now have (well from Sept 1st) 18 different 129 routes, albeit 17 start at Epping and end at Heathrow.....or vice versa...
Not having gone through this with a fine tooth comb is there any possible mathematical reason or explanation that this should be the case or is it just pure coincidence that there are 18 routes passing through 129 different stations only once and yet there is not 1 route that covers 130 or more
Over to you budding youg Einstein's then

Well Kevin, I must admit that I am as astonished as you are by this surprising fact. Obviously I am not one to doubt HÃ¥kan's computer programme in any way; since it's Swedish it must be correct.
The only redeeming fact is that there probably are only a few real variations, but if you put them together in different ways, you get a lot of possibilities. (It's like if you take some dice, and throw them three times, you'll get one of 216 different results.)
I think Starkey's hit the nail on the head there. If there was one 130 route, it's fairly likely that there would be a couple of variations (such as Angel / Old Street vs Farringdon / Barbican), and if those variations existed in separate places along the route they would multiply quickly into dozens of routes. And then we'd be asking why there are so many 130 routes and yet no 131 routes...
Well there will be a 130 in the not too distant future when Heathrow Terminal 5 opens. Then we can get a 135 when the Bakerloo is extended to Watford Junction and if the Croxley Link is ever built we can get to 144!
Yes it will, you can go Hatton Cross - Terminal 4 - Terminals 123 - Terminal 5. Because the Heathrow Loop is one way you can only finish there rather than start there.

Sorry to bump this post, I was just planning some 129's and started with
"Hakan route 12" being one of the lowest number of charges at 29...
However I can only make this a total of 128 stations
When someone has 10 mins would they mind just re-checking my maths on this one......
Cheers...

Great minds think alike! I have just been doing exactly the same thing.
It is only 128 as it is written, but I think there is supposed to be a detour to Charing Cross between Holborn and Gloucester Road. In fact Charing Cross seems to have missed off several routes.
In fact there appears to be an 18th route that was missed off completely! It is the same as route 7 but doing Stockwell-Waterloo-E&C-Bank instead of Stockwell-E&C-Waterloo-LB-Bank.
I guess that no one likes that Charing Cross run between Northern and Bakerloo lines.....where you are running a whole station
